"Well, you do have this ability, when you are famous, to set trends just by being photographed and that’s really not fair. I shouldn’t get any more credit than the next person for, say, bringing back those Linda Farrow flying shades, I just happened to be wearing the aviators that to me were the most ‘normal’. That doesn’t make me a fashion icon though. People who have TERRIBLE style have the ability to set trends."

"I think there’s no comparison between Drake and 50 Cent as artists. He has momentum right now. Great momentum. He has a record on the radio and hasn’t signed a deal. That’s the comparison. But there’s obviously a difference in the type of music and the significance in being able to create aggressive content and have it go that far as opposed to making the record that Drake has on the radio. I sit in front of you as someone who’s received 16 Grammy nominations and I have no trophies, because I chose to write the harsh realities. I stayed true to myself and I’ve taken a little beating behind it. I still have the largest debuting album to date. So if Drake can continue to do what he’s doing now he could potentially have one of the largest debuting albums. I wish him the best."

June 10: At the Black Eyed Peas' CD release party in NYC, Drake is photographed with singer Rihanna, fuelling rumours that they're an item. He has said they are friends, collaborating on her next album.

Gavin Sheppard Talks Remix on OTA Live
The Remix Project is a youth program which facilitates the growth of Toronto’s new generation. Kids who qualify for the program pick a stream to focus on whether it be music, design, business, promotions, engineering etc…they make a goal to achieve and with the help and guidance of industry mentors as well as The Remix Project staff they work towards achieving those goals.
